Do I need prior experience to attend the training?
No prior experience is required. This training is designed for both beginners who are just starting in the PMU industry and those looking to refine their skills. Whether you’re new to permanent makeup or have some experience, this course will give you the foundation and hands-on practice you need to succeed.
What is included in the training?
The training spans three full days of hands-on learning, where you'll gain expertise in the airbrush brow technique, develop essential business skills, and work with live models. You'll also receive a comprehensive training manual covering both the procedure and business management, notebook, daily lunch and snacks, and a starter kit to kick off your journey.
Do I need to bring anything to the training?
If you're already a PMU artist and have a tattoo machine you'd like to use, feel free to bring it! If not, no worries—I have machines available for you, and one will be included in your kit. If you have zero experience with tattooing, you don’t need to bring any PMU equipment—I’ll be providing everything you need.
Is lunch included in the training?
Yes, lunch is provided each day with this training. I aim to make the learning experience as comfortable as possible, so you don’t have to worry about bringing food.
Item Will I receive a certification after the training?
Yes, you will receive a certificate upon completion of the training. This certificate will show that you have completed my one-on-one PMU training program and are now ready to begin your career in permanent makeup.
How many students are in each class?
At this time I offer one-on-one training sessions to ensure you receive personalized, focused attention throughout the program. This ensures you can learn at your own pace and get the most out of the training.
Is payment required upfront, or are payment plans available?
Payment is not required upfront before training. However, a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot for the selected dates. The remaining balance is due upon your arrival, prior to the start of the training. Flexible payment plans are also available to accommodate your needs.
Do I need a license to perform permanent makeup after the training?
Yes, after completing the training, you will need to obtain a tattoo license to legally perform permanent makeup services. For example, in Texas, a separate tattoo license is required, as it is distinct from any beauty-related licenses. While I will guide you through the steps to get licensed in your state, it is your responsibility to check your local county and state requirements prior to training to ensure compliance.
Can I attend the training if I am traveling from out of state?
Absolutely! I have students traveling from all over, and accommodations are available. If you need recommendations for hotels or additional details on travel arrangements, just let me know!
